The line graph illustrates the amount of foreign visitors to three different territories of a country in Europe from 1987 to 2007.
Overall, all figures were rising throughout the given period, whereas the line of the mountains sharply fluctuated in the last decade. The coast and the lakes showed the steady surge between 1987 and 2007.
The figure of lakes represented gradual upward trend in the first decade of the timeline, reaching 40 thousands visitors in 1997. Then, they rose sharply to reach a peak of around 75 thousands in 2002. At the end of the period there was a dramatical decline to 50 thousands, which is 5 times more than at the beginning.
The lowest figure of visitors can be seen in the mountains. Although, they had twice as the lakes in 1987, the line showed a slight increase, reaching 35 thousands in 2007. In contrast, the biggest number of visitors in 1987 was in the coast, more precisely 40 thousands, which is 4 times as the lakes had. Although it was a brief drop in 1992, the figure illustrated a significant surge from 1992 to 2007, reaching it’s peak at 75 thousands visitors.
