The table illustrates the proportion of households that had a car in each country during 20 year-period between 2000 and 2020. It can clearly be seen that the percentage of households travelling by car had increased in each country; Germany demonstrates the biggest rates, whilst the population with the lowest car usage was in India over the two decades.
First of all, households in Germany were owning the most cars, nevertheless, the least rise presented is Germany too; rising by 30%. However, Brazil and India had risen by more than 30%. It commenced at 45%, and at the end of the period, it was three quarters of German households.
