The two maps demonstrate the town of Harborne changes before and after some reconstructions in the following years: 1936 and 2007.
It can be clearly seen that the first map has a number of places, such as: river, cycle path, three threes, government offices, butchers, farm land, flower, and sweet shop. In addition to this, most of the places on that map were ignored.
On the other hand, the recent map has shown some changes in the features mentioned above, as the river has been removed and residential area has been built instead. Moreover, the government completely demolished the sweet shop and butchers. However, a supermarket has been developed.
In general, the post office, bank, and library remained the same, which is explained in the above maps already.
Overall, it can be clearly identified that the town of Harborne in the maps shown above experienced significant changes in the years mentioned earlier. Furthermore, some buildings have been removed and replaced by others, while others remain the same.
