The pie chart illustrates how people in the UK allocate their time to various leisure activities per day in 1961 . Overall, it is notable TV and radio received the maximum time distribution while the opposite was true for sports, walking.

It is noticeable that individuals in the UK spent most of the time watching TV and listen to radio taking virtually half of the free time a day at 139 minutes, almost doubled the time allocated for other leisure at home which was only 74 minutes.

It is apparent that others contributed one-forth of the time. Socialising and eating out, cinema, pubs etc were allocated for 35 and 28 minutes respectively. Eventually, sports, walking was the lowest spending with only 9 minutes per day.
