The line graph compares three different museums, namely the British Museum, the Science Museum, and the Natural History Museum, in terms of their visitor numbers during summer in the year 2013.
From an overall perspective, although there were substantial fluctuations, the number of people who attended the British and Science Museums saw a small increase throughout the recorded period. Meanwhile, the figure for the Natural History Museum declined.
Regarding the increased museums, the figure for the British Museum increased from 600 in June to approximately 750 in July. From this point onwards, however, it fell remarkably by roughly 250, to 500. After that, the figure bounced back to well above its initial number (650) by the final month of the period. The Science Museum, on the other hand, witnessed a marginal increase in the number of visitors. In June, the visitor’s number fell continually, reaching 300 in August, before recovering to about 440 by September.
In terms of the Natural History Museum, its figures started at its highest level, well beyond 600. After a considerable decrease to well under 400 in July, it was followed by a period of stability from July to August, rising again to roughly 480 visitors by August.
