Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing letter in relation to the four-bedroom house I rented from your estate agency on the 1st of March 2024.

According to the contract, I have rented this house to share with two of my colleagues as the house is spacious enough to accommodate 4 tenants. In addition, the contract states that in case of any problems within the house, the landlord is responsible for maintenance on a monthly basis.

I am afraid that there has been a number of issues around the house that require immediate response from your end. The fuse box, which is located on the ground floor, has been making strange noise at night and it switched off twice already. Furthermore, in spite of the fact that the house is located in a vital part of the city, it has been difficult to pay the rent as it is high when split by 3 individuals.

Hence, I am requesting that you contact the landlord as I have tried but there is no response from their side. I was wondering if I can post an advert regarding the empty room in the house. Unfortunately, nothing has been stated in the contract regarding this part.
