Dear John,

I hope this letter find you well and in good health. I’m writing this letter to inform you that as we planned to meet tomorrow but due to certain reasons I can’t join you. I apologize for this last minute delay.

The reason for not coming is that my cousin is visiting us tomorrow from America after five years with his family. I’am very excited to come face to face with his kids as I only see them on vedio calls . So it is very important for me to stay at home to welcome their family and to spend quality time with them after such a long time.

I hope you will understand my situation but for sure I will visit you the next day and we will meet at the Scarborough city centre as we planned earlier. I’m so excited to see you the upcoming day.
