It can be observed that the highest proportion is boys who play football. At the same time, the figure representing boys playing netball is the lowest. In addition, boys’ rate is higher than girls’ in most of the categories except for netball. In terms of swimming, the rate of boys who go swimming outside school hours is 16% as opposed to 13% of girls who take part in the same sport. Meanwhile, there is 20% of male footballers, which is five times more than that of girls (4%).
On the subject of netball, there is 3% of boys playing this sport, which is 14% smaller than girls. In comparison with female ballers, there is 7% of boys playing basketball, which is larger by a narrow margin of 1%. When it comes to students who do not do sports, boys take 4%, which is slightly under girls (5%).
