Conversely, the usage of playing games experienced substantial growth, rising from 17% in 2006 to 42% in 2008, but then stabilizing at 41% in 2010.
In contrast, the data highlights the significant growth in internet-related activities. There was an increase in the percentage of mobile phone users who search internet features from 41% to 73%, a rise of 32% over a period of 2 years. Similarly, the percentage of people who used mobile phones to record video increased from 9% in 2008 to 35% in 2010, a rise of 26% over the past couple years.
Furthermore, the usage of taking photos and playing music also depicted a continuous upward trend, with the percentage of mobile phone owners using these features increasing over the years.
