The given pie charts demonstrate the total amount of water used in agriculture in 2004, along with the overall profit from different products in Australia.
Overall, it can be observed that the majority of water was used for vegetables whereas the opposite was true for rice and livestock. Additionally, despite the large use of water in vegetables, it was overshadowed by fruits in terms of income.
This analysis will first look at the chart illustrating the use of water in agricultural products. Vegetables accounted for 46%, outweighing fruits at 28%. Cereal with 12% exceeded dairy by a margin of 4%. Notably, the percentage of water used for rice and livestock was identical at 3%.
Attention will now turn to the remaining chart where the total income coming from these six mentioned products was recorded. Although the large percentage of water used for vegetables, fruits with 42% surpassed it by 9%. Cereal and dairy gained about 13% and 8% respectively. Regarding rice and livestock, the total profit of these two products was not as much as the others with both at less than 5%.
