The diagrams illustrate the transformation of a center between the year 2005 and the present moment before and after renovation.
After the refurbishment project, it is readily apparent that the area of the center extended tremendously, with newly added rooms and areas, followed by the relocation of the entrance, reception desk and consulting room. Notably, the surroundings, including the car park and the garden, also underwent a makeover.
For the interior changes of the center, there used to be a rectangular-shaped waiting and reception area ringed by five rooms, with an office and consulting room on the left-hand side, two consulting rooms on the right-hand side, and a physiotherapy room on the top right-hand corner. After modification, an extension was built from scratch at the top right corner of the floor plan, framing a new room as a minor operations room. A new consulting room was added, with all four consulting rooms situated at the bottom-right corner. The location of the physiotherapy room remains unchanged. Following the relocation of the consulting rooms, the entrance moved to the bottom-left corner, together with the reception desk and children’s play area, which compressed the area of the office.
For the open-air space of the center, the fence, which originally encircled the front side of the center, was then placed horizontally on the top-left and the bottom-right corner to separate the carpark and the garden, subsequent to the increased capacity of the carpark with the reduced area of the garden.
