The pie chart illustrates the percentage of poor family groups living in the United Kingdom in 2002.
Overall, it is clearly seen that solo parents and single people without children were the highest percentages, however the aged couple who lived in poverty was the lowest in the percentage.
As can be seen, 26% solo parents were economically insolvent in the UK in 2002. Meanwhile, single people without children accounted for nearly a quarter, while couples with children were much less affected standing at 15%. On the other hand, 14 % of all households in the UK were living in poor conditions.
On the other hand, there are other features with lower portions in the chart, aged couples have a tiny portion, following single – aged persons with 7% and couples without children with 9%.
