To begin with, the rate of poverty among sole parents and singles without children was high, at 26% and 24% respectively. After these groups, 15% of couples with children experienced living in poverty, which was 1% higher than the rate of poverty in all households. Meanwhile, the rate of poverty among couples with out children, single aged persons, and aged couples were under 10 %, at 9%, 7%, and 5% respectively.
