Hi Nick,

I guess you will not be satisfied with my letter, but I have news which I must tell. As you remember I was planning to visit you in mid-July and I had already made all arrangements for this trip. Unfortunately, I have to reschedule my dates at the end of July if you don’t mind. I’m truly sorry.

I was going to tell you about a new chapter of my life right after landing in Canada, but an important event happened literally yesterday. I was in the process of buying an apartment for myself, and for a long time was not even one appropriate studio. Thank God, two days ago I found a dream apartment for a good price. The tenant will be able to sign all of the documents and complete the deal only in the middle of July.

Please tell me if it’s okay if I visit you in the last week of July? The good news is that I can transfer my tickets to a new date without a fee.
