The plans give detailed information about changes taking place in Liverpool John Moores University in the years 2010 and 2016.
Overall, it is clear that there was a dramatic change in the structure of whole university, particularly in the development educational blocks and additional cafe. It is also worth mentioning that only admin building remained less or more unchanged over the given period. Looking at the details, in 2010, the university had complicated view with separated three academic blocks and road system that made the campus seem less organized. In the north, there was a biology building, next to the construction aimed to teach chemistry which was situated in the top-right corner. The third block of university was for physics where near to the car park occupying right of the building. In the north-west, there was also a huge library. In the south-east, the university’s admin building placed, facing to the another car park.
As for the second view, the university has experienced several changes, with the addition of new buildings and merging the old ones. The changes in the educational constructions were joining three buildings and adding IT suite section to the library making it more modern and convenient for all. Demolishing roads for car and parking areas gave opportunity to constructing footpaths, started in front of the library. To the west of the map, a new cafe was built facing the library, near to the bus station which was replaced the previous parking area in the south-west corner. In the east another previous car park demolished with car road and introduced lecture theatre. In the south-east, near to the administration building footpath added running from west to east.
