The diagram below shows statistics of preferences in a use of transport in different countries. I’m planning to give a few comments on a research and point out some crucial differences.
According to the table, majority of respondents use cars as a main transportation through the distances. Anyway, in Tokyo citizens travel mostly by train. Bus is mid popular category for each country. Lastly, people prefer bicycles and their own feet. Tokyo personally develops its own transferring system but unfortunately, due to high technological progress, cars take most parts of chart.
In comparison, a half of Tokyo city uses trains as same as half of Sydney uses cars. In every country, 5% of or answered use their own feet. Bicycles rage from 10 to 15 percents in each group. Parisians, surprisingly have 35% of bus users, other countries rage from 20 to 30 percents. To sum up, all countries have their own preferences in models of transportation. Unfortunately, walking takes the least.
