The data illustrates the floor idea if a public library since two centuries ago and now. Overall, the area remains the same but with some significant changes in the inside in all the rooms and a lot of replacements.
As we go through the entrance, the first thing on your right is a cafe that replaces the enquiry desk. Then, you will see the hallway fills with adult fiction books, information desk, and some self-service machines. It used to be a adult non-fiction books section 20 years ago. After passing the hallway, we can find a lecture room that used to be filled with children’s books before.
The left side on the northwest of the libraray used to have CDs, videos, and computer games but now it’s replaced by children’s fiction books and two sofas, moreover, storyteling events happen to be in the same room. After exiting that room, we will see a hallway fills with all reference books. It was tranformed from an adult fiction books. And last rom on the left to the entrance, it used to be a reading room but now it has been changed to a computer room.
Lastly, the tables and chairs that used to locate in the middle of the library is now being erased entirely leaving a spacious place for people to walk through.
