The table provides information about the proportion of residents living in different types across three areas of a city.
Overall, the populations of the three areas were almost identical. Furthermore, each area was dominated by a different housing type, with detached houses being the most common in the Central area, flats and apartments overwhelmingly prevalent in Green Park, and terraced houses accounting for the largest proportion in Southberg.
Regarding the most common housing types, flats and apartments were by far the most prevalent in Green Park, accounting for 76% of all dwellings. This figure was fivefold higher than that of terraced houses, which only accounted for 14% in this area. In contrast, Southberg showed the opposite pattern, with terraced houses making up 56% of all dwellings, while flats and apartments ranked second at 15%.
Turning to central area, detached houses was the dominant housing type, accounting for 39% of the total. Semi-detached houses ranked second at 28%, while flats, apartments and terraced followed at 15% and 18% respectively.
