Switzerland is in second place with a two-fold growth of 6 million euros in 2004. The figure for Sweden rose slightly by 0.2 million euros within that time, and it was 1 million euros in 2004.
In terms of banana sales, Switzerland experienced a more than threefold increase, reaching 47 million euros in 2004. The figure for the UK grew 5.5 times over the given period, and it was at 5.5 million euros in 2004. Denmark and Sweden saw falling from 2 and 1.8 million euros to 0.9 and 1 million euros between 1999 and 2004.
