The given table revels the sales of Fairtrade labelled coffee and bananas in the year 1999 and 2004 in five different European countries. The figure are in millions of euros.
-Overall, it is lucid that the purchase of coffee had increased dramatically in some countries and with slighty figure in other, and same pattern is observed in sales of bananas.
→Firstly, in UK the initial sales of coffee was at the bottom with 1.5 the span of million euros, but within five years of span it become approximatly 13 times of its initially figures, meanwhile in other countries like Switzerland and Belgium it rose by 200% and 70% resepectively. Whereas, in Sweden and Denmark the trade just went up with one- fifth million in 2004.
On the other hand, the sales figure of bananas saw a major changes in all five countires. Starting with the Switzerland leading amongst all with 15 million euros in 1999 and it rocked to 47 million in half a decade of time period, following the UK with 5.5 times increment in its sales. Moreover the sales depecited downfall in Sweden and Denmark with 800 thousand euros and 1.1 million euros respectively
