These pictures illustrate how paper is produced and recycled. There are 11 stages in the diagram, from plantation radiata pine to producing recycled paper.
The first step is that the radiata pine’s seeds are sown, and then the seeds to grow into plants. Once the plants have grown sufficiently, the wood is then thinned. After that, the wood is cleaned from its bark by the de-barking drum. After the de-barking stage, the wood is chipped by chipper to shape and smooth it. The shaped and flat wood is cleaned again with heat by thermomechanical refiner. Subsequently, paper is manufactured from half-ready paper by paper making machine. Finally, the paper is ready to produce newsprints.
In order to make recycled paper, first of all old newsprints are collected, and then they are ground by rotary grinder. The following step is that the paper pieces are mixed with certain chemical for de-inking. Once the de-inked paper pieces are cleaned from unnecessary parts, the pieces are then screened by fine screening machine. The paper pieces are turned into recycled pulp. The next step is that the thermomechanical and recycled pulp are mixed, and add water in the special machine. The last step is that the ready recycled paper is produced from mixed pulp.
