Overall, data clearly shows that film released had been increased in all genres except the Romance category throughout the decade., same noted for ticket selling as well where selling in all categories were increased except romance genre, where it recorded significant decline in 2006.
During 1996, major films were released in Drama and Comedy categories around 25% and 20% and that was inline by 10% and 5% respectively in 2006. On the other hand, in the same year 1996 ticket sold for comedy movies were at peak at around 20% and later in 1996 it was surged to 24%. Furthermore, fantasy movies were numbered in between 10 to 20 percentages in terms of production and 3 to 10% in terms of ticket sells throughout this 10 year time-period.
Conversely, film premiered that contains romance scenes were remain same in 1996 and 2006 at around 7%. But ticket selling for this kind of genre was more in 1996 then later it declined towards 3%.
