In 2008, the figure for Japan was highest figure with an average life expectancy of 82.7 years. Korea and U.S followed closely with respective figures of 79.2 and 77.2 years old. Indonesia, by contrast, recorded lowest level at 70.9 years life expectancy.
However, the table reveals different growth in life expectancy. Indonesia, despite recording lowest level in bar chart, increased of 14,1 years since 1996. A similar situation can be seen in Korea, saw a substancial growth to 9.3 years. Japan and U.S represented closely related trends in terms of life expectancy with 5.1 and 3.2 years.
