The bar chart shows the percentages male and female who took part in 5 sports at least once a month ago.

Overall, Males participated more than females in football and running, while females outnumbered males in tennis and ice-skating. But in basketball, both of them are similar.

In football, men participation was significantly higher, at around 65, compared to women only for 17,5. In addition, a similar pattern can be seen in running where approximately 48 males, while the number for females was at around 30.

However, in tennis females were more active about 40, exceeding the male figure of roughly 33. And also, in ice-skating females were elevated for 45 but males were lower for 20.

In last sport which basketball, they were similar for 18. And it was a sport which were lower that other sports.
