It is clear that the main trend of USA and Japan students was an upward trend and the opposite was true in the figure for China. Besides, the number of international applicants to the college of one European country of Russia alway kept the bottom.

In 2004, the data for China students was highest at around 27000, nearly half that of the USA. In addition, about 7000 and 3000 were the number of Japanese and Russian applying to the college in European countries, respectively. In 2 years, there were some changes in all the figures. The data for China decreased dramatically to about 18000, otherwise the figure for the USA climbed moderately to the same level.
