Given are two maps comparing the differences in a school in 1985 and in the present.
Overall, it is evident that playing fields have given up some space in order to build more facilities for school. While the car park and road have been narrowed to make room for planting trees, the library has been changed completely to a learning resources centre.
As can be seen from the maps, the road leading to the playing field in the past and the trees in the present divide the maps into two parts. Concerning the left side of the maps, whilemaps, while the office has remained unchanged, the rest of the left side havehas experienced a full transformation. The small car park and classrooms have been knocked down completely for some free space. The library has been turned into a learning resources centre where the school has added a computer room inside. The left part of the playing fields havehas been demolished to make space for a pool, fitness centre, and a larger classroom.
Concerning the right side of the maps, classroom blocks have been extended by one storey, and the school has planted trees beside the classroom blocks. The playing fields have been narrowed so as to make more classrooms for more students. Interestingly, the main car park and the road have been shaped into a semi-circle instead of a rectangle as in the past.
