The floor plans illustrate the layout of a student common room 5 years ago and the changes that had occurred in the present.
Overall, the room experienced a significant modifications with many additions. There is the emergence of serveral electronic devices, such as drink machine, television, and new microwave. Furthermore, some furniture items were also added like 2 new benchs and armchairs.
Regarding the right side of the room a cubpboard, and sink have still kept the same position in the right corner of the room for 5 years. Meanwhile, the number of table diminished from 4 to 3, with one round table nearby the sink converted into rectangular table to accommodate more people. By contrast, there was the addition of two more bench with the one was adjacented to the sink and the other one for laptops was located to the south of the room.
Concerning the remaining space of the room, while the refrigerator remained enchanged in the top right corner, microwave, located between bench and refrigerator was doubled. Moreover, the layouts showcased the supplement of drink machine, television, and armchair to watch television to the east of table area.
