The two pictures show the floor plan of a student common room, comparing 5 years ago and now. In general, the room was upgraded with more ultilities and less tables, more space was spent for food and drink as well as entertainment.

Easy to notice that the table setup has been changed after 5 years, from 4 rounded tables to a long table and 2 rounded tables. The room nowadays has more space in the north for a new bench, which students can put the laptop on it. In the past, there was a bookshelf in the bottom right corner, which was replaced by a television, surrounded by 4 armchairs in the current room.

In the kitchen area, the bench next to the microwave in the past has been replaced by a new microwave, so that the room now has 2 microwaves in total. Near the refigerator, a new drinks machine was added in the current room, this area was empty space 5 years ago.
