The table illustrates statistics on the number of women in the workforce and the percentage of whose who works as managers in Australia, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Japan and the United States.
Overall the percentage of female in the workforce in Egypt, Sri Lanka and Japan is significantly bigger than in managerial level, while the number of women involved in workforce and in management remains almost the same in Australia in United States.
The biggest divide between female workforce workers and managers is documented in Sri Lanka, 41% and 9% respectively, while the smallest appears in Australia, 42% and 43%. It is also noticeable that Australia is the only country from the list where the percent of female managers is bigger than percent of females involved in workforce.
The number of female employees in Egypt is 20%, which is almost twice lower than in the other countries on the list. Also the table shows that the percent of women who work as managers in Australia and the United States is the same, 43%. At the same time, figures differ in Japan, Egypt and Sri Lanka, reaching 17%, 12% and 9% respectively.
