The graph demonstrates the number of male and female students pursuing higher education in Britian over the time span of three periods and they were studying either full time or part time .

Overall, part time way of higher education was more prevalent among both men and women. On the other side, the enrolment of both male and female students also showed a signs of improvement by each period.

In 1970- 1971, 1000 and near about 100 male students were enrolled for part time and full time higher education, respectively, which was comparatively higher than female students as there were around 780 and 70 female students in part time and full time higher education. During 1980-1981, there was a minimum disparity between the number of male and female students got admitted to part time and full time higher education.

Turning to 1990-1991, there were equal number of men and women enrolled in part time higher education. However, in full time higher education, female students were more than male students.
