The bar chart shows the figure for favourite free time activities among teenagers in Canada. Overall, shopping and sports were the most popular leisure activities among boys, whereas girls preferred music and, particularly, computer games. It is also noticeable that music was the only activity equally favored by both genders.
Focusing on boys’ favorite activities first, shopping was the most popular, with around 35%, making it the highest recorded percentage in the given period. Additionally, approximately 25% of boys engaged in sports, while music and computer games accounted for around 19% and 16%, respectively.
When it comes to girls, the percentage who liked listening to music was as high as that of boys (29%). Moreover, girls were less engaged in sports and computer games, accounting for approximately 19% and 11%, respectively. Shopping, on the other hand, was the least favored activity, at just 6%.
