The bar chart illustrates the proportion of commuters used different types of vehicle in London in 2000 and 2020.

Overall, the most popular mode of transport was car, while the least was bicycle. Percentage of people who used public transport or a bicycle sligthly grew. However, the figure for car witnessed a decrease.

A car and public transport were the most popular means of transport among all categories in both years. About 60% of people used car to commute in 2000. Nevertheless, this number fell to approximately 50% in 2020. The percentage of people who traveled to work by public transport in 2000 was around 25 compared to 30 in 2020.
