Overall, the number of accountants and computer programmers visiting to Australia increased slightly, with the latter showing higher rise, while the immigrants who are cook and software engineers experienced downward trends. It is noticeable that the visits of accountants were the highest throughout followed by software engineers, and cookers, whereas the reverse was true for computer programmers, which showed the lowest figures.
In 2009, 20,000 accountants visited to Australia, followed by software engineers slightly lower, at 18,000, and cookers, at 15,000. By contrast, the number of computer programmers was the lowest, around 2.500. By 2010, there was a dramatic increase in the number of accountants, while the opposite case was true for cook which showed a noticeabe decline to 10,000. At the same time, the figure for software engineers experenced a small rise to 20,000, after which it further increased to approximately 22,000 in the next year similany there was a growth for the figure for computer programmers, to about 4,000.
For the rest of the period, there has been seen a sharp decrease in the number of accountants, followed by software engineers to 17,000, whereas the figure for cook and computer programmers rose slightly to 16,000 and 5,000, respectively, with the latter remaineng as the lowest.
