Overall, the number of votes for ”Range of shops” always ranked first during all three periods. Additionally, there was a downward trend in most of the categories except for ”Museum & Art galleries” and ”Transport” over three years.
In year 1, nearly a half of people living in London prefered ”Range of shops” the most, with 45%. The second highest proportion belonged to ”Job opportunities”, which was closely followed by ”Mixture of people”, with approximately 38%. Meanwhile, three facilities that London dwellers rated lowest were ”Night life”, ”Transport” and ”Museum & Art galleries”, with 25%, 23% and 22% respectively.
By year 3, although ”Range of shops” still held the number one spot in London residents’ preference, it was a small decline in its figure between year 1 and year 3, from 45% to 43%. This reduction was also seen in votes for ”Job opportunities” and ”Mixture of people”, with the equal percentage at 35%. Similarly, supports for ”Night life” decreased from 25% to 22% and stayed in the minimum. By contrast, choices in ”Museum & Art galleries ” and ”Transport” recored a rise in the distribution, at 27% anf 25% respectively.
