The bar chart illustrates the results of a research conducted among young professionals aged 20 to 30 years, who were asked to identify the elements that motivated them to achieve success.
Overall, it is evident that individuals in this age group are more influenced by internal factors than by external ones.
As can be seen clearly from the bar chart, the factors can be divided into two groups, namely internal motivation factors and those concerned with the exterior. Most of the individuals had probably high “Ambition” and “Personal satisfaction”, which were the highest percentages of this group, were both at 80%. The second most significant factor was “Rivalry”, with around 50%, matching the rate of “Desire for material things”. Besides, the figure of “Fear of failure” was half the value of the previously mentioned data. With the factors are comprised of “Feeling inadequate” and “Envy/Jealousy”, around 35% and 30% of individuals had this interpretation as their common inspirations to chase the success of their life.
Turning to the other group, which consists of four factors, relative stresses known as “Family pressure” is considered to be the most stimulating by most of the respondents with 70%, followed closely by “Pressure from society” at around 60%. The lowest impact came from “Peer pressure”, including over 40% of the poll while “Money” was slightly higher, which was chosen by approximately 45% of the sample.
