The bar chart compares the proportion of expenditures for five essential catagories among countries ( USA, Canada, UK and Japan) . Overall, the majority of people spent money for food, housing and transportation, the reverse was true for health care and clothing. Additionally, the percentage of expenses showed a high tendency for housing in USA.
As far as, USA was concerned, the proportion of cost for food, housing and transportation was 14%,27%,17%, respectively, while the figure for healthcare and clothing was reversed like 7% and 4%. Also, in Canada people spent less money for healthcare (4%) and clothing (6%), but the majority of expenditures were spent food(15%) , housing and transportation showed same cost about 20%.
When it comes to Japan, the figure for spending food and housing were close each other approximately 23%, also the proportion of expenses for healthcare and clothing were around 4%, while it was different for transportation which spent 10% in 2009. Furthermore, in UK the most individuals’ expenses were related for food, housing and transportation like 20%,24% and 15% ,respectively, while this statistics were reversed for healthcare and clothing just 3% and 6%.
