It is obvious that water consumption is a necessity in Australia, especially in Perth and in the Agriculture sector.
It is evident that the highest residential water consumption is from Perth (300 kilolitre per property), followed by Brisbane and Adelaide, around 250 and 225 kilolitre per property respectively. However, Sydney remains in the average at 200 kilolitre per property. However, the lowest is in Melbourne and Canberra, at 150 and 125 kilolitre respectively.
It is obvious that the agriculture sector is heavily dominant in water consumption distribution at 67%. However, the other remains similar, starting from households (9%), water supply, sewage and drainage and electricity andn gas supply (7%), manufacturing and other industries (4%). Meanwhile, the lowest usage of Australian annual water consumption is from mining at 2%.
