The main feature of the graph shows that the overall rainfall was highest at the start and end of the year and lowest between august and october. However, there were some notable differences from the last year figures and long-term averages.
In January form March, last year’s the average rainfall (60-70mm) was lower than the historical average of 60 to 80mm. April showed the largest gap with average rainfall of 20mm last year compared to the lon-term 55mm. Rainfall in May and July slightly exceeded the average while july (about 15mm) was well below it
Both database showed the lowest in august and october, under 15mm. However, November rainfall rose to 45mm, above the average, and December matched the long term figure around 50mm.
Orverall, the pattern was smiliar, but some months saw significant deviation.
