The bar chart illustrates how many miles men and women in a country covered for six different aims in a particular year.
Overall, men travelled more miles than women in day trips, entertainment and work, while women covered more distances in meeting friends, transporting children to school and shopping. It is also clear that work-related travel has the highest mileage in both genders.
Men travelling for day trip and entertainment covered a distance of 10000 and 15000 respectively, which was both higher than their female counterparts, with respective figures being 7000 and 12000. 35000 mileage is the total number of miles that men traveled to work, whereas this purpose just had women going 30000 miles. Notwithstanding this, women travelling mileage in shopping was higher than that of men at the exact same miles covered in work.
Turning to the other remaining purposes, 25000 is the mileage that women did for meeting friends, while the figure for their female counterparts was lower, at just 22000. Taking children to school required women to travel with 27000, which was higher than that of male, at 26000.
