Overall, women took part in three out of the four courses more than men, with language courses being the most popular among females. People aged 50 and above accounted for the largest share, while teenagers under 20 were the least active, representing the least proportion.
Looking at the data in details, women made up 40 in language lessons, while for men this figure stood at 20. The less dramatic gap can be seen in the figure for painting, each females and males accounting for 30 and 25 respectively. Meanwhile, while drama courses were one of the least common categories for men at 10, women made up 20. Finally, sculpture lessons were the least favourable for both men and women, showing 10 and 5 respectively.
Regarding the age distribution of participants, adults aged 50 or over constituted the biggest proportion, making up 42%, which was followed by 26% of individuals at the age of 40-49.
