Overall, it is clear to recognize that traveling by bus and rail has emerged as a popular choice for UK inhabitants in both two years surveyed. The rest of the vehicles including bicycles, motorbikes, and planes have not attracted too much attention from the public in there.

Comparing the two years surveyed in terms of the total distance length of all examined vehicles, it is clear to see that in 2000, it stood at around 112 billion kilometers slightly higher than the data in 1990, at 100 billion kilometers.

Looking at the bar chart in more detail, in 1990, the road length for bikes, motorbikes, and planes hit the lowest point of the statistic bar, only around 5 billion kilometers, which was one -and -tenth compared to the data for bus and rail, at 43 and 40 billion kilometers respectively.

In 2000, it remained all almost of the features or trends and only witnessed an increase in the value. Three vehicles bikes, motorbikes and planes still stood at the bottom of the bar chart with a slight increase compared to that in 1990.
