The graph illustrates the amount of people of different sexes and ages from Australia who did exercises to keep themselves fit in 2010.
Overall, the percentage of women who did exercise tended to increase with the age of the women, while the amount of men who did physical activity tended to decrease in the first half of life and increase in the second half of life. The highest value for men and women is almost the same but for women this happens significantly lately than for men.
According to the graph, the youngest male population has almost the highest values of percentage on the graph and it falls dramatically in the second age group. By contrast, the youngest women have a very low percentage of physical activity which rises step by step until it reaches its maximum, after which it starts to fall. At the elderly age both men and women have almost the same proportion.
