The given chart gives data about the number of males in high positions in three companies, IBM, Microsoft and Apple companies during 30 years, from 1980 to 2010.
Overall, IBM was the company where most men participated in senior positions in 2010 while the least one was also IBM among all categories for all periods.
As can be seen from the graph IBM reached the peak with approximately 63% in 2010 whereas it demonstrated the smallest increase in 1980 and 1985 less than one half, about 0,3%. During the rest of the period this company was the most preferable choice for males with increasing tendency among other options .
Microsoft also illustrated a significant growth. It began with about 8% in 1980 and after some fluctuations it became the second company where the most of the participation of men was recorded, nearly 18% less than IBM.
Apple was the only option that began above 10% at the beginning of the period. It experienced fluctuations over the period and was the least choice for males who attended in special positions.
