The given bar graph illustrates the global production of oil in OPEC, Middle Eastern, and non-OPEC countries.
Overall, it can be seen that the production of oil in OPEC Middle Eastern countries was minimum in 1980-2000 but highest in 2010-2020. However, the non-OPEC countries followed a contrasting trend. Additionally, other OPEC countries had no manufacturing of oil in 1980-2000 but recorded similar figures to non-OPEC in the following years.
In detail, OPEC Middle east countries produced around 2 million barrels oil per day, before rising to 8 million barrels per day in 2000-10. In 2010-20, it experienced significant growth accounting for 15 million barrels/day.
The non-OPEC countries showed a contrasting trend at around 9 million barrels per day in 1980-2000, thereafter a production of 6 and 1 million barrels per day in 2000-10 and 2010-20 respectively.
In terms of other OPEC countries, they registered no production in 1980-2000. Post this period followed an identical trend to non OPEC middle east countries, 6 and 1 million barrels in 2000-10 and 2010 – 20, respectively.
