The given bar graph demonstrates the amount of daily consumption of salts in milligrams for both genders. As per the graph, the study is made on European citizens in 2019, for various age ranges.
Overall, after a thorough analysis of the chart, in 2019, two to five years old children consumed salt below the recommended daily dose, whereas adults with age ranging from thirty to thirty nine recorded the most significant salt consumption.
Thirties males had a record of almost the double of their recommended dose of salt, after a mild inclination in their intake. However, while males get older, their salt’s intake decreases progressively, to reach their lowest rate. The lowest recorded number of males’ consumption was nearly 2800 milligrams of salts, and it was recorded by ages above 70 years.
On the other hand, in general, females intake were comparably less than males throughout years. Similarly, females consumption was increased until they reached their thirties’ age group. Moreover, elderlies shared the same pattern of declination with aging , accounting for 2300 milligrams of salt consumption when they have exceeded 70 years old.
