The diagram illustrates data about energy production and its consumption in top ten countries in 2014.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that leaders in both sectors are China and the USA, while Korea is ranking last among others. There are common pattern in all countries, where the production rate is always higher than usage of the energy.
Looking at the production of the electricity, China ranked first at 5.398 billion kWh, following by America which generated 4.099 billion kWh in 2014. The amount of energy production in Russian and Japan was almost the same, at about 1,000 billion kWh. Last five countries production numbers corelated between 480 billion kWh and 620 billion kWh.
Similarly, the amount of consumed power in China was 5.322 billion kWh and the United States used by 2.500 billion kWh less energy than the former, but still showed significant differences that others. Wherease, Canada, France and Brazil had more than 500 billion kWh, Russia comsume twice more energy in 2014.
