Given bar chart contrasts proportion of female school graduates applying to Universities in 5 different countries over period of 35 years.
It is clear that number of students that decided to go higher level of education increased in each country over the period shown. Overall, larger percentage of British, American and Korean girls chose Universities in comparison with Australian and France girls.
In 1980, US and UK had nearly same ratio of university students that are woman, a bit less than 40% each. In contrast with Australia and France, that had about 55% and 50% respectively. Last country with least proportion of woman students was South Korea, only about 15%.
In 2015, Noticeable rise was seen in UK’s and USA’s percentages of girl students in colleges, about 20% rise, making 55% and 56% respectively. While France and Australia weren’t run into big changes. However South Korea in this year has nearly two times more woman students as it was in 1980.
