The bar chart illustrates the life span in four certain nations, Japan, Korea, the USA, and Indonesia, while the table demonstrates the transformation of life expectancy between two specific years, 1953 and 2008.
Overall, in developed countries such as the USA, Korea, and Japan, the life span of people was mostly high, with the leading nation was Japan, while in developing countries like Indonesia, the life expectancy of the residents was the lowest. However, there was a significant growth in the life expectancy of people living in Korea and Indonesia.
Looking at the bar chart, it is obvious that the highest life expectancy belonged to Japan, around 83 years old, higher than that in Indonesia, which was only 70 years old. Besides, although the USA and Korea were nearly the same, there was a two-year-old disparity, which saw that the USA (approximately 77 years old) was not as high as Korea.
Moving on to the table, we can clearly observe that the figures for the alternation in life span of Japan and the United States were nearly unnoticeable, which was just an addition of around 3 years. In contrast, the life expectancy of people in Korea experienced a remarkable surge by 12,5 years in the period. Moreover, that in Indonesia was the most considerable change, rising by 15,7 years over six and a half decades.
