The bar graph compares four different countries namely Japan, Korea, USA and Indonesia in terms of the life expectancy of their citizens born in 2008, and the table illustrates the changes in life expectancy rates from 1953 and 2008.
Overall, East-Asian countries, Japan and Korea, constituted the highest figure for life expectancy, while the others had relatively lower rates. In addition, all countries experienced an upward trend with Indonesia and Korea accounting for the highest rise.
Regarding the bar chart, leading countries were Japan and Korea, accounting for about 82 and 78 years of life, respectively. Followed by the USA, with approximately 76 years, leaving Indonesia last, with 70 years of life expectancy.
As for the changes, Indonesia and Korea are dominants, with the former experiencing slightly more than 15 years in life expectancy between 1953 and 2008, and the latter with 12.5. The increase for Japan and the USA was relatively small at around 3 years for both.
