After the introduction of parking meters into city centre there was sudden reduction in the journeys to 5000 rides per day. This trend continued till 2002 and again the number slightly decreased by 1000, after Westgate Street and Park lanes were closed due to traffic.

Looking toward the non-residents journey report, it inclined from 1996 to 1999 from 5000 to nearly 8000 rides per day. The journeys cease near to 8000 rides per day after the introduction of parking meters i.e. from 1999 to 2002 and again fall to around 4000 rides from 2003 till 2005.
